Question : Problem: Is there a way to extend a phone line wirelessly to connect a fax in another room without running through the house a long telephone cord?
I want to buy a multi function printer, scanner fax etc.. but where I want to place the device is far from the phone line jack on the wall, and I don't want to run a long telephone cord from one room to the other in the apartment. There is no way of installing a second phone jack in the apartment without chasing walls and ceiling in other words lots of work involved and expensive for and extra phone line point.
Therefore I was wondering if there is a devise that has does the function of a phone extension cable but wireless.
The multifunction device I am looking at has wireless capabilities for network purposes but it still needs a direct phone line connection for the fax service.
Any suggestions?
I have a dedicated fax line at home for business purposes.
Thank you in anticipation for any help.

Never used them. Just be weary of there frequency. Try and get somthing away from 2.4 as this is very common and used for cordless phones and wifi internet.
