Question : Problem: How do I reset XP Multiple Monitor Setup?

Hello experts,

I am using windows XP with one monitor. Stupidly, I designated monitor 1 as my primary monitor-although I distinctly recall a large 2 flashing on the screen when I used the identify monitor function. Now when I boot up my display is blank/black. How can I fix this when I can't see anything on my screen?

thanks,

Can you see the post screen  ?

The drivers shouldnt kick in till windows splash screen finishes loading. If you cant see ANYTHING when you turn on your PC its probably not the drivers, it would definately be hardware.

LOL

If you want to kill two seagulls with one crowbar , you could also determine for certain if it is the drivers or the hardware by plugging in another cheap video card. if it boots in with that then you could still uninstall the old drivers.
