Question : Problem: XP Display Driver for m8300f / geForce 6150SE / nForce 430
I also have been trying to set up XP on the same machine (HP m8300f). I took my HP IDE HD from an older system and stuck it in the new one, as I would like to be able to dual boot the system either XP or Vista.
This solution helped my situation to a point - all the nForce drivers from the link appear to have worked except the display driver. It left me with the default VGA adapter.
I tried to install a standalone driver for the GeForce 6150SE (

ect/winxp_

) but the display would only run in 640x480, 4 colours so I had to uninstall it by system restore.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried the solutions offered and nothing has worked so far. I have decided to give up on the dual boot and will just use the hard drive as a backup device.
