Question : Problem: HDD indicator light does not go off

I have an ASUS P3B-F mobo and everything seems to be workign fine as far as widnows and DOS goes... Win2k boots, and linux is fine too.. however, the hard drive indicator light does not seem to go off at al... i have read the manual several times, and have tested various connections on the board to see which one activiates it correctly, but i have had no luck... does anyone know what the issue might be, if any... or, does it even matter if the light does not go off? the reason why i am keeping the light is to know if my computer is on or off...  thanks...

Answer : Problem: HDD indicator light does not go off

The correct connection for the harddrive light is the on the seven pin connector above the header for the speaker and reset.
The correct Pins are number 6 pos. and seven neg. Counting from the front of the computer to the back.
