Question : Problem: how many watts do these devices use?
|
|
I sell at a flea market and need electrical power so i am going to get a voltage inverter that converts 12 volts to 110 volts. The inverters come is various sizes, 75 watts, 300 watts, etc. I know the higher the better but also the higher the greater the cost by a mile. The devices I will use would be these: (I'd like to try to find out how many watts they use so I know if the 75 watt inverter would be enough) 1. laptop 2. desktop 3. computer montor 4. television 5. microwave oven 6. radio 7. video game system like Xbox
and i would have to use the laptop and monitor at the same time so the conbined watts would be an issue also the desk top and monitor together also game system and TV together.

Hi nickg5,
The 75Watt will not even be nearly enough, the processor of a desktop computer alone will allready use that amount of power, not even thinking about the other equipment. Microwaves are available in all sorts and sizes, but most recent ones can easely use 1000Watt, so your 300Watt one is also way out of the question.
In fact, from the total list you mentioned, the microwave uses about the same amount of power the others use together, so check your microwave for how many power it uses.
