Question : Problem: Why CPU usage 100% but RAM usage is lower?

I'm using P4 2.8Ghz 512MB with Win2K Pro. I notice that whenever I'm running my excel formula, the CPU usage will raise up to 100% and the memory usage is about 38MB. Does this mean my CPU isn't that fast to process? I should have a greater processor?

Why does CPU usage 100% but memory usage is lower? Is this normal?

Answer : Problem: Why CPU usage 100% but RAM usage is lower?

I'd call that normal. The calculations hits the processor but its not a large file so it not memory intensive just cpu intensive for a bit. If you wanted it to run the formula faster then you would want a faster cpu. Even with a faster cpu if it has to run a lot of calculations it may hit 100% but just not as long as the slower cpu.
