Question : Problem: com1 port test

we have this program running on windows xp pro that uses a scale to weigh boxes.  the scale output uses a digital display to show you the weight and then everythign is scanned into an app that was made with fox pro 9 then it prints out the order along with a fedex label well we are implementing a new program to do this using csharp and we need to verify some weights using hyper terminal the problem is that hyperterminal is not see the scale we need to get HT to see the scale but it wont, i have tried all the different settings for it but it does not work. any ideas

Do you try to use hyper terminal at the same time as the scale program ?
