Question : Problem: Failed drive with error "a disk read error occurred"

Drive wont boot and gives error "a disk read error occurred", can be recognized by BIOS when set as master or slave. When master just gets to screen "a disk read error occurred" and stops, but slave with a good working drive, wont let the operating system boot, just stuck at windows 2000/xp/server splash screen.

I am looking to recover the data off the disk and not looking to get the disk back in working order. JUST NEED THE DATA.

What are the best ways to acomplish this?

Answer : Problem: Failed drive with error "a disk read error occurred"

You have a hardware I/O issue on the logic board on the disk.
Send it out for repairs
