Question : Problem: How to route Exchange 2003 SMTP to another Exchange 2003 server

Does anybody know How to route Exchange 2003 SMTP to another Exchange 2003 server? I have 1 Exchange 2003 server with a Netsky/Worm Mass Mailer virus and I can't allow SMTP port to be opened otherwise we get blacklisted. Can I forward that domain's SMTP email to go to another Exchange 2003 server that is clean?

as i said,yes.


you can install a second exchange server in the domain.
the move the user from the first server to second server.

then shutdown the first one.

you need to either change your MX record or change your firewall settings to redirect the email to send directly to the second clean exchange server.
