Question : Problem: Need to recreated deleted partition on USB drive

This is what happens when you work on formatting disks after 3 hours of sleep two nights in a row.

I accidentally deleted the only partition on my external usb drive. All of the data should still be there, but I have to figure out how to get access to that drive. It is showing up as attached in the system tray, but it isn't available in the disk manager.

I'm running windows xp home edition. The drive is external usb 2 western digital.

Any ideas on how to get at this drive?  Once on the disk I think I can take it from there with a little research, but how do I get on that external hard drive save taking it appart and installing it as an ide drive?

Last time I did this I used http://www.partition-recovery.com/partition.htm with success.
Probably it's a good idea to put it direcly on the IDE bus.
