Question : Problem: Processor test

I have a user saying this laptop gets very hot where the processor is located.  The description the user gave me was the area was too hot to touch.  I have taken the keyboard off and blew out the fan and sourrounding area, there was very little dust so I do not think this could be the cause.  I have let is set and it doesn't get hot at all, of course the processor isn't doing anything to produce a lot of heat.  I did run a diagnostic on the fan, it passed the test.  Is there a free program that will give the processor something to do to heat it up and possibly give me a reading of the temp as well?  I know I can do a search for such a program, I want to avoid getting some malicious software and I know I'll get good recommendation for here.
