Question : Problem: second harddrive, Quantum Fireball EL 10GB, not recognized. Primary HD is Maxtor 6Y120P0. OS is Win98, not SE.

Just upgraded to a Maxtor 6Y120P0 120GB drive and installed Win98 on it. It boots normally, but when I connect my old Quantum Fireball EL A2F1, as a slave, it is not recognized by the OS. I want to copy some data from the old drive to my new drive. Thanks.

if your motherboard is an older one, you may have to run the IDE Auto HDD detection in the BIOS
