Question : Problem: Dell Server into std APC rack

Good day All, could you tell me if there are any know issue with installing any Dell server into a standard 42" APC rack ,or into a older IBM (not sure of model) rack.

Thanks

Answer : Problem: Dell Server into std APC rack

modern IBM square hole rack no problem. round hole rack not so easy though since square hole has become the de-facto standard.

And before you ask it'll fit in a HP rack as well as long as it isn't an old one with glass panel door (that counts for just about all servers nowadays, for airflow they want drilled steel rather than solid low-airflow doors.
