Question : Problem: Centrino v Pentium 4

OK ... in simple terms ... what is the difference between a Centrino and a Pentium. I'm thinking of getting a new laptop ...

1. Is a Centrino 1.5 the same speed as a Pentium 1.5 ?
2. It's selling point is that it is designed for 'mobile computing' ... but what difference does it make ?
3. Is it just a remarketing ripoff thing (chips are very expensive compared to Pentium running at faster speed)

I've been wondering this for a while now ...
