Question : Problem: Blackberry won't activate - Invalid PIN
Experts -
I moved my mailbox from one Exchange 2007 server to another. After realizing that I didn't setup BES to work with the new Exchange 2007 server, I moved my mailbox back to the original server. Now when I try to activate my Blackberry, I get the "Processing Stopped: Invalid PIN" error. I've tried the following to get the blackberry to activate:
-Deleted my user account in BES and recreated it after the mailbox was moved back
-Ran IEMSTEST.exe and all tests were successful
-I am able to send PIN messages to other Blackberries
-The activation email from RIM comes through to my mailbox
-Tried deleting my Outlook profile and recreating, no luck
-Tried running the handheldcleanup.exe utility on my mailbox, then wiped the device, then tried EA again, no luck
In the Event Viewer for BES, I get the following:
-{
} MAPIMailbox::~MAPIMailbox - DeleteAllDeviceSearches (0x00000000) failed
-User
not started
-{
} MAPIMailbox::Construct - Open Root Folder failed
-{
} Failed to remove BlackBerry configuration folder
-{
} Unable to save configuration settings or statistics
I don't know what else to do. Please help!
Answer : Problem: Blackberry won't activate - Invalid PIN
Fixed it. Just needed to restart the BES service. :)
