Question : Problem: The Solution Center finds no install HP Printer and closes.

HP Solution Center finds no HP PRinter installed and closes. The printer is working but I need the solution center to work so I can use the features on it for printing on a CD.  I uninstalled IE7 per someones suggestion and now have IE6 with service pack 2.  IE is working not too good so most of the time I am using Firefox for the internet.
All the software except the HP came on my compupter (XP, etc) so I have no disks.  Also lost disk for HP printer but I downloaded the drivers and software from the internet.  Can't fun SFC because of no disks to refer to that it asks for.  What can I try now to get the program to recognize my printer and run
