Question : Problem: Tape inventory best practices?

I am using Arcserve 11.5 SP3.  What is the best way to inventory my tapes so I can tell how many times they have been written and know when to replace them?

I would think that the summary tape info would already contain that data for you, but  I have not used ArcServe in a while..

Can't you do a single inventory and the tape logs should then be kept updated automatically.
If not, then it needs to be done by date, and simply start removing the oldest tapes from circulation.
