Question : Problem: Windows - Delayed Write Failed

I have a Maxtor One Touch lll external 80gb usb drive.  I am using it for backup of data files from a program called Taxworks 2006.  I have password protected the Maxtor drive.  I have also installed encryption on the drive.  When I launch the Tax Works program, I receive Windows - Delayed Write Failed errors.  Is there a fix for this?

Answer : Problem: Windows - Delayed Write Failed

Is your device USB a USB 2.0?
Does your MOBO ony have USB 1.1?  

That will cause the issue.
