Question : Problem: Quicktime tool bar does not show in web browser in Vista 64

I just loaded a clean install of Windows Vista. I am tyring to watch some video's that are streamed from a site in Quicktime.  The videos open in another web browser window(it happens the same way in both Firefox and IE).  The video plays fine, but the toolbar is not shown (the play, pause, stop button and the progress bar). Instead there is just a black bar.  It seems like the buttons are there, I can move the video forward, but they are not shown.

Any ideas?

I found the solution.  Apparently this is a known issue.  Quicktime does not run properly on any Windows 64 bit OS.  Apparently this has been an issue for over a year now.  There is a work around that can be used.  If you go to the properties of the application (or a shortcut) and go to compatability mode and set it to Windows XP SP2, it should solve the issue. However it would be nice if Apple would fix this issue.
