If you have Windows XP, then all you need to do is copy over My Music from the My Documents folder of the old computer in the the My Documents folder of the new computer. If going from XP to Vista, then copy the content of My Music into the Music folder under your user name in c:\users Also, if you have music in other folder, then be sure and copy those as well. On the new computer, after you have copied over the files, open iTunes... if set up correctly, it should automatically open your old library. Go to Store, Authorize computer. This will allow you to play your purchased music. Once you are satisfied that everything is working, go to iTunes on your old computer, make sure you are on the Internet with it, and then click Store, Deauthorize Computer. iTunes will only allow a certain number of authorized devices, and it's important that if you no longer use the device, you deauthorize it so that you free up that device.
