Question : Problem: BackupExec not seeing autoloader (Exabyte) but used to
All I have Backup Exec 10d running on Server 2003 and all was running fine for months. Then one day the tape drive and autoloader fell offline for no apparent reason. I've RMAed the Exabyte LTO autoloader, gotten a new SCSI cable and terminator, uninstalled BE completely, rebooted and reinstalled with all patches and STILL NO AUTOLOADER. I'm using the Veritas tape driver and the Windows driver for the autoloader which shows up in DevMan as "unknown medium changer". All of this is per Veritas. The built in HP tape drive shows up fine in BE but the autoloader does not. Both devices show up fine in DevMan. The Exabyte tech was able to see the autoloader with the vxatool (or whichever it is). So I'm guessing the problem is with a registry entry somewhere. Has anyone resolved a similar issue? Your help is appreciated!

No other thoughts I'm afraid. Except making sure you have the latest device driver pack installed.
