Question : Problem: Corrupted User profile on Fujisu Disk

So a Fujitisu drive failes...

When slaved via USB drive - everything is visible except the user profile where all the data is stored!

When you click on user "John" it just comes up as blank.

Here has what has been tried already:

GetDatabackfor NTFS - just froze at the final step
Stellard Phoenix - did not even find the profile
Linux Live CD - same as Windows

So close and yet so far...anybody have any suggestion on what to try next...I've used up all my trump cards!

Remove the disk from the USB case and connect it directly to a PC. Then run hddreg on it, which can revive bad disks and doesn't harm it.

After that use the fujitsu diagnostic utility to scan the HD, which can repair further issues, and after that again use getdataback on it if the data still can't be accessed directly. But if possible don't use it in the USB case, as that can add extra issues. The diagnostic tools of all HD manufacturer's are on the UBCD.
