Question : Problem: iPod Corrupted
|
|
I am running Windows Vista Ultimate, and I have an 80 GB iPod video. Recently Vista has been telling me that it needs to scan the ipod for errors whenever I open it into iTunes. Today however it is telling me that the ipod is corrupted and will need to be reformatted. I can do this, but then I'd have to reinstall all of my music, change file names back, reprogram playlists, etc... I'd rather copy the material somehow if possible. When I try to open the iPod from Windows Explorer, I also cannot open it without freezing the PC and Windows Explorer shuts down. Just right clicking on the iPod folder icon does this. Vista is also telling me that I need to format the disc in drive J before I can use it... Any ideas about how I can access my files before I reformat the device? Cheers, Sam
