Question : Problem: Random Blue Screens...

I have a pc that was throwing up blue screens with various stop errors and after various attempts to diagnose the problem I backed up the data and formatted the disk.

However, since then the blue screens have continued, usually when I'm halfway through reinstalling Windows.

So far I have tried the following, all without success:

replaced memory
changed graphics card
changed processor.
monitored mb and cpu temps
tested hard drive

I have also tested the cpu, mb, memory, video and hard drive with a diagnostic disk called PC CHECK, without any errors showing up.

Any idea's of what to try next? Are there any other diagnostic utilities I can boot the pc with and run (one's that run within Windows are no use a the moment, obviously)..

dc

Answer : Problem: Random Blue Screens...

Could be a bad motherboard or power supply. Check the motherboard for leaking or bulging capacitors. Do you have another power supply you can try?
