Question : Problem: What is the CPU capacity of my Dell motherboard?

I've got a Dell Dimension R350, with a 350 PII processor. Dell support says the motherboard can take up to a PII 450 processor,  but the Intel site says the chipset (82443BX/ZX   440 BX/ZX CPU to PCI Bridge [AGP Implemented)] is capable of supporting a PIII CPU.  Does anyone know what this board can take or how to find out?

Intel made slot 1 P-IIIs up to 1GHz, but the voltage requirements changed above the 600 MHz models. You may still be able to get a 2.05V P-III at 600 MHz, but I'm sure the availability is limited at best. See the specs at:
