Question : Problem: Microsoft Keybaord with fingerprint reader will not work with KVM
I just bought a Zonet KVM 3324 and I am using it with my Microsoft keyboard with fingerprint reader. Everything seems to work just fine but I can not get the "hot keys" to work. I thought it was the device but I swapped it out for a new one and have the same problem. I then tried another USB keyboard and that one work just fine with the "hot keys". Both of the keyboards work just fine if I manually change the port on the Zonet device itself.
Not sure if it is drivers or what but I can not get anyone to answer at Zonet tech support.
Thanks
Answer : Problem: Microsoft Keybaord with fingerprint reader will not work with KVM
it will be the drivers I expect kvm's dont really work with anything other than standard keyboards
