Question : Problem: Any new or old USB device not detected...
|
|
Hi all My client had a power failure and the server (Small Business Server 2003 SP1) didn't have a clean shutdown. After it booted the printers stopped working. No amount of changing to other USB ports re-detected the printers. I've also uninstalled and re-installed all the USB root hub devices in Device Manager. I've deleted the printers under system32\spool and this removed the printer but still nothing when I plug anything into the USB. After this I realize it's not anything printer related but more USB related. Something corrupted in the registry? Can I simply delete all the USB and USBSTOR keys under currentcontrolset\Enum? Is there something like system restore for SBS?
