Question : Problem: Anyone got any ideas how to resolve the following problems with veritas backup exec 9.1? I run out of :(

Sometimes the backup job will run but most of the time the agent will just crash on the client and the backup job will fail with the following error >>>
The connection to the target system has been lost. Backup Set cancelled. A communications failure occured on the backup device.

- Installed latest service packs in the BE media server? - You should exclude the Exchange M Drive from the selection list. - Make sure Remote agent is running in the target server - Is there any firewall blocking the target server? I mean the port is not accessible. If that didnt help, Recreate the backup job and see the result.
