Question : Problem: How can I get my files back?

Hi! I unfortunately formatted the partition of my hard disk where I use to keep all my data. Getedataback managed to retrieve all my partition structure and even the filel looked perfect. Hence, I got started on the copying procedure but after some minutes the process stopped itself. I think I probably messed my files up as I was copying them in the same partition I was trying to recover. Result: now I still manage to see my old data structure but all the files are basically empty like (size=0kb). I'm basically getting crazy.
Can you help?

Was not the best idea to write them to the same directory. R-Studio warns user during installation step - do not restore to the same drive.
Chris is right, data is overwritten. But you can still try to use other recovery tools. Try Recuva, R-Studio etc.
