Question : Problem: Inventory by serial number

What is the query so I can inventory all computers with Serial; better yet it would be even nicer if I can input a serial number and SCCM would return to me the name of the PC that matches the serial number.  Thanks.

Hi,
Inventory System by serial no. Can you please elaborate more on this, i Can help you with a query which can help you find the system based on Serial No.

SCCM already has the inventory of your Serial No. and you can check these reports in Asset Intelligence if you have enabled it. The name of the report is Summary of Computers in Specific Collection, wherein you select All Systems and then run the report this will show you all the systems along with the Serial No. in that specific Collection.
