Question : Problem: 'There is no user at the target PC' when there is?

I have a network of pc's running LogMeIn free.
At the windows authentication LogMeIn says "There is no user at the target PC" and when I am actually logged on to the machines "There is no user at the target PC. "
This happens on all machines and there is no option to initiate a chat as a result.
What do I need to do for LogMeIn to correctly report the pc's login status and allow me to chat to the user?

Answer : Problem: 'There is no user at the target PC' when there is?

I've determined the problem relates to windows 2000 machines specifically.  Only windows xp machines seem to notice activity and report that correctly.

Thank you for your kind offer Gary.
