Question : Problem: NTBackup on Exabyte

If a server is backing up to tape using something like Veritas on DAT drives would NTBackup be able to read the tapes?  I am working on a server with disk failure.  They gave me their backup tapes to restore with with but they all show to be blank using NTbackup.  They don't know if they had any backup software loaded or not.  I can't see a thing on the tapes.  It's W2k with an Exabyte 20/40 DAT.

If it is not Veritas, you should check to Tape import option I think. Veritas also should recognize a number of different formats, but you will need to check the latest documentation to see which.
