Question : Problem: Citrix user profile system directory problem

In Citrix Metafame 1.8 running on a Window 2000 server I had a local application that used an ini file in
C:\Documents and Settings\userID\WINDOWS\APP.INI

The problem now is that the app is loading app.ini from the main system folder c:\winnt\app.ini
This means that each user gets the same ini file stopping the app from working correctly.

How can I get Citrix back to using the users "windows" folder?

That is very likely due to the Microsoft hotfix 917422:

Try to uninstall it and check if the problem persists.
