Question : Problem: User profiles in Terminal Server environment

New to this company..... we are running 2 Terminal Servers on Win2k3, SP1 on 3 GHz Xeon, 8 GB RAM each. The user profiles are set to a network share on another server (roaming profiles) there is not a path in the Terminal Server Profile tab. So in essence the users have 3 profiles, 1 on each TS server and one on the network share. Having just read an article from MS I see we should enable the GPO which sets the path for TS roaming profiles and edit the TS profile tab in AD. After I do that can I safely delete the huge profiles which are stored locally on each TS server and will this enhance the servers performance? currently some of the profiles are over 1 GB. Thanks in advance.

Answer : Problem: User profiles in Terminal Server environment

Well, a basic hybrid profile could be local My Documents, Desktop, and Temp Internet Files with everything else roaming for example.  You need to decide what is taking up all of the space/slowing down your logins.  Here are some more resources.
