Question : Problem: Installing a new floppy drive...

I just bought a new floppy drive today because my brother stuck a penny in my old one.

I hooked everything up and from what I can tell, everything is hooked up correctly. I turn the computer on and I have a Windows Boot disk in the drive the LED light will come on make a sound as if it were working and then it just stops and it doesn't detect that I have a disk in the drive at all.

I am wondering what would cause my new floppy drive to start doing this? Please help, ASAP.
