Question : Problem: Hard Drive Can not repair
MacBook 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, about 1 year old. Suddenly os will not boot up and just white screen comes up. restarted computer with the original os cd-1 and i see the HDD but the volume is grayed out. even the volume name is not there just shows disk0s2 when i got to disk utility. i run verify disk selecting the actual HDD and it said volume needs repair and i run repair disk but fail to repair. is there other software i can run to repair this volume? i know the disk is not making noise or anything to indicate drive failure. it's Toshiba 60GB HDD
thanks.
