Question : Problem: Stop printers redirecting when using RDP to control servers
|
|
Sometimes when using RDP to a Windows Server 2000 or 2003 machine it causes issues such as bluescreens or hanging due to it installing a printer which driver does not work on Windows Server.
How can I stop RDP from redirecting printers to a Windows Server? I know that I can untick the 'Printers' redirect on the client but is there anyway to make a restriction on the server itself? Some of our users will not remember to untick the printer setting.
Thanks

In Terminal Service Configuration, Connection, RDP - Properties you can change general options, and one among those is to disable printer redirection
