Question : Problem: What is better for RAM? Speed? Or quantity?

I have a dell latitude d820 laptop that I use for browsing the internet and using office applications.
On the more intensive side, I also use the laptop for torrenting, 3d animation using 3ds max, video editing small videos, and playing games (although not the most high-end games, think more like Thief III).
I am using Windows XP Pro, but I am planning on one day upgrading to Windows Vista Premium.
The computer used to have 2 x 512mb 533mhz DDR2 RAM in it, for a total of 1gb of ram running at 533mhz. I just recently purchased a 2gb stick of 667mhz DDR2 RAM.
So now i have a choice, I can either remove BOTH 512mb sticks, or only remove one.
My two potential setups are: 1 x 512MB 533mhz DDR2 RAM 1 x 2GB 667mhz DDR2 RAM or 1 x 2GB 667mhz DDR2 RAM
If I go with the second setup, I have half a gig less ram, but I get to run the ram at 667mhz. If I use the first setup, the laptop will run both sticks at 533mhz.
So... given what I use the laptop for, which setup do you think is best? Less ram but faster speed, or more ram at a slower speed?

IMHO - Quantity is better in this situation - but best way to tell for sure is do a benchmark test with each configuration.
