Question : Problem: Purchase option- Dell or E machine?

What is your opinion of the E machine computers for home computing use and is the extra money for a Dell computer worth it in the long run? I want troublefree as possible.

I have worked on a few E-Machines myself, and I found they were made with cheap components, and overall not built very well.

I have never myself worked on any Dells, but anything I have heard, they build them the way you want, and their support is very good. The only BIG difference, is that with Dell, you can't just walk into a store and get one.
