Question : Problem: Blackberry newbie needs help with attachments

We are very new to using BlackBerry 8820 (both MD's have just got the first two as new upgrades). They are set up with two e-mail accounts each (Yahoo and work via Outlook Web Access). These work great for receiving and reading e-mails and viewing PDF attachments.
What they would like to do is:
When they are on their yacht (very nice!) they can access e-mails with attachments using the BlackBerry. They have a laptop with no internet access. They have the Desktop manager software installed on the laptop.
Can they save the PDF attachments in the e-mails to the Blackberry and then transfer them across to the laptop, for reading/saving, using the Desktop software and a USB cable?
At most there will be 4 BlackBerry users so BES seems to be an overkill.

Thanks
Neil

I don't know of a transfer utility that will do what you're asking, but it might be out there.  If they're getting service on their Blackberries they can turn their Blackberry into a wireless modem and get internet access on their laptop through their handheld.
