Question : Problem: PCI USB 2.0 problems

I am having problems getting my PCI USB 2.0 card to run at 2.0 speeds. When i plug in a usb storage device windows tells me it can perform faster if it was in a usb 2.0 port.  Do I need to make an adjustment in the bios or what could the problem be?

a problem with your drivers probably
if it is recent, a system restore can help you out.
or try updating the chipset drivers.
