Question : Problem: how to resolve conflict of the driver of hp scanjet 3970 with logitech webcam fusion driver

I have Hp scanjet 3970 scanner and logitech webcam 'fusion' installed in my computer.
After I install scanjet driver the scanner will work,then after a while it would stop working,and the imaging devices section of the device manager would only show logitech webcam being only one device installed.When I try to scan,an error message would appear telling that the scanner is not connected with the computer,though in reality it would be still connected with the USB port of the computer.
I have tried with both hp opreating software HP Director, and Vuscan software without any luck.
