Question : Problem: Fixing broken ethernet port
I have three gateway laptops that all have problems with the network ports. The spacer between the telephone line and ethernet port is broken out. I have tried to put a dead phoneline in the port to hold the spacer and ethernet, to hold everything in. This is not working to well. Has anyone had any experience with this? Is there a external fix or should I try glueing this back?

Glue, carefully so as not to get any on the contacts, or you could add a Network adapter PC/PCMCIA card or USB network adapter. Sounds like a design flaw if you have 3 like that.
