Question : Problem: Prevent second NIC from registering in DNS

I have dual NIC's on a Windows Server 2003 box.  I don't want the second NIC to register in DNS.  Under Advanced TCP/IP Settings on the DNS tab I unchecked the 'Register this connection's addresses in DNS' box.  However, the ip address for this NIC is still registering in DNS.  This server is also my DNS server.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

Answer : Problem: Prevent second NIC from registering in DNS

A DNS server will automatically register all addresses it's listening on, independent of the settings in the DNS tab in TCP/IP properties. So if you don't need to have your DNS server listening on the second NIC, then simply unbind the DNS service from this NIC, and it will stop registering itself.
