Question : Problem: Alienware m17 wireless adapter not finding network

My m17 isn't discovering my wireless network even though it is working fine and other laptops can find and connect to it! The device and driver are apparently in working order but it just won't find it. The ethernet cable adapter works fine as well! Any ideas?

Answer : Problem: Alienware m17 wireless adapter not finding network

First the obvious make sure the wireless card is on.

Second open the "Network sharing center" on the left click "Manage wireless" connections.
Remove your wireless network from the list.
Then let your wireless card discover your wireless network again.  

If that does not work the Alien ware m17 uses an Intel WiFi Link 5300 I would get the latest drivers.

If that still does not work, I would call Alien ware for support and have them come swap out the wireless card
