Question : Problem: dell usb mouse not working

dell machine all usb connections mouse is seen by the computer but shows in device manager as hid compliant device I have access to the machine through rdp. i have tried to move it to all other usb ports and have uninstalled all the usb ports still no joy any help without reloading would be appreciated

Your dell mouse will show up only as "HID Compliant Device" because that is how Windows recognizes it. USB mice are a type of HID compliant devices. Windows seems to be detecting it correctly. It may be the mouse itself. Does the mouse work on other computers?
