can u please clarify if what u said is right " i am going into the backup job select the files i want to restore and then run the job"
you mean you are going to the restore tab and selecting the files that you wanted to restore.
confirm when was the backup from which ur trying to restore was run. can you post the screen shots of the process you have adopted.
