Question : Problem: Victoria for Windows, check for bricked HD?

I'm trying to know if my 500 GB segate barracuda (one of the epic fail series these days...), has been damaged due to an overvoltage, or its bricked like all the other barracudas... Im using victoria for windows to check it, i have two discs attached to the computer, one, where im running the OS (also a barracuda of 500 gb, exactly the same as the "bricked" one) and the other one that is not recognized by bios... i get the next captures when checking for primary and custom ports... any help please??? im desperate with this issue.

I'll repeat.

If the BIOS can't see it then no operating system or application is going to see it.

As suggested if you replace the logic board at the base of the hard drive you might be able to access your data.  If you've got two Barracuda's of the same type, same firmware then by swapping the logic boards across you might recover the data.

However Seagate offers support to fix their bricked drives and recover the data.  See

It might be worth checking with Seagate to see if you are under warranty.
