Question : Problem: How do I trunk multiple VLANs through an existing VLAN

I have two sites with Cisco 3750Gs each with a fibre connection from a telco.

Both connections are running configured as 802.1q trunks.

Site A has just the one VLAN on it that connects it to site B

Site B has multiple VLANs coming down this one fibre, one of which is the VLAN supplied by the telco to site A.  Other VLANs on the fibre are for different services provided by the telco.

I have multiple VLANs on the site B switch that I would like to extend to the site A switch.  I do not want to route the traffic if at all possible as we are migrating equipment from site B to site A and would like to keep things as simple as possible.

Thanks.

Answer : Problem: How do I trunk multiple VLANs through an existing VLAN

hi!
there are several scenarios possible.
1st - you ask your telco to provide you with additional vlan between sites
2nd - you ask telco to provide you with q-q vlan between sites. in this case you will be able to transmit all vlans between both points. However this option is rather costly for telco (requires q-q equipment and ready infrastructure)
