Question : Problem: My computer doesnt turn on any more. Wierd sqeaky high pitch noise
hi my computer doesnt turn on. i plug in the cable and attach monitor. when i press power button. it turn on. sends no signal to monitor. makes a sqeaky high pitch noise (seems like coming from hard drive) or cd... and then again does after soem seconds. someone told me its bad power suply. i went and showed the pc to a pc repair stoe. he told me its my power supply. i bought anew one. attached it back and now turn on.

can any one shed some light
all things seem to be connected fine... got 2 hard drives, one cd burner, 2 cooling fans.

Memory error at initial BIOS loading stage. Memory not detected or error in first 640K of RAM.
In your case, I still believe it is memory controller on motherboard not RAM causing problem. Rather than spending more buying additional RAM, test what you already have in another motherboard if you want reassurance.
In short, as I have been saying for several days, it's almost surely your motherboard and not your memory.
